I think everyone should already know this by now, but wolfsbane, sometimes known as monkshood, is a dangerous poison, and has nothing to do with werewolves or other shifters. It will not make you shift faster. It will not make you immortal. It will not make you a werewolf.

 

It will kill you.

 

The plant is so toxic that simply touching it can incur uncomfortable side effects such as nausea, headaches, and diarrhea. It is not a plant you want to work with. It is a plant both shifters and non-shifters stay away from for this reason.

 

People who tell you this plant is harmless, that you can build up an immunity to it, or that it helps instead of hurt werewolves are either willfully ignorant or liars. You cannot build up an immunity to this kind of toxin, nor should you, and it has only been used historically to kill others. Anyone telling you otherwise should not be listened to.
